A spice is any fragrant leaves, tree bark, root vegetables, grains, and plant stems. With the help of spices, you can change the taste, quality and color scheme of the dish. There are many different spices, but not everyone knows which and what to combine. Several basic spices are often used in cooking:

5 Oregano has a very intense aroma and taste. Chefs add it to pizza and fish sauces. Flowers are used to decorate dishes.
6 Cumin is most often added to lamb and sausages. The seasoning has a positive effect on digestion and appetite. It goes well with potatoes and cabbage.
7 Rosemary is used in dry form as a seasoning for chicken, pork, fried potatoes. Baked dishes and fish are decorated with fresh twigs. It makes the taste range of ordinary dishes more noble.
8 Cardamom has the aroma of eucalyptus, amphora and a hint of citrus. It lasts longer in the pods. They are added to liqueurs, creams, and cookies. It is perfect for shellfish and meat.
9 Ginger is bitter with a sweet aftertaste, used ground in baking, fresh roots are more common in Asian cuisine. Ginger root is also used to make a decoction for colds.
10 Cinnamon is the most interesting spice, which, due to its antibacterial properties, is recommended even for the treatment of internal infections. Fragrant cinnamon sticks will always decorate the festive table, and the ground spice goes well with pastries.
